Project Manager → Technical R&D Lead / Head of R&D Function
Joined to coordinate telemarketing and field-service logistics, then created the company's R&D function organically by identifying and solving technical problems the business had not yet recognized as a dedicated capability. Now leads internal tools, integrations, data systems, technical concepts and external delivery for a distributed workforce that has ranged from approximately 50 to 150 remote agents.
- Created Fortis R&D from an individual problem-solving contribution, turning operational tools into a staffed technical function with a clear leadership mandate.
- Lead developers and temporary specialists while working directly with ownership, executives and operational teams; convert ambiguous goals into architecture, priorities, executable examples and acceptance criteria, and personally finish selected high-complexity boundaries.
- Lead the primary internal operating-intelligence platform across sales performance, work logging, CRM, protocols, reporting and integrations; directed its evolution from a single-provider prototype into a canonical multi-source architecture.
- Designed the booking-cycle model for historically fair sales attribution and personally implemented a timezone-safe .NET work-time qualification engine with project-weighted thresholds, activity clustering, gap recovery, lunch handling and explainable outcomes. Later work extended the model into review workflows, time totals, access and booking/order attribution under my product and technical direction.
- Built a recruitment pipeline processing about 60 applications daily across job-board, applicant-tracking, telephony and social intake channels, reducing lost or delayed candidates by an estimated 60–75%.
- Designed a six-stage PowerShell acquisition and enrichment runtime with a historical 24-hour average of 20,927 completed IDs/hour on 23 June 2024; separately reconstructed roughly 45,000 fragmented retention-customer histories.
- Hand-built spreadsheet and scripting applications for field operations; one route-planning surface replaced roughly 70+ manual map checks in a typical ten-technician day and remained useful for years with little maintenance.
- Converted a global website opportunity into a signed international engagement, defining the planned 16–22 week scope, contract and risk controls, recruiting specialist capacity and designing recurring support services.
- Own self-hosted application and development infrastructure spanning Kubernetes, storage, backups, observability, CI/CD and Atlassian tooling, while serving as company-wide technical escalation and integration authority.
Independent Web Developer → Technical Project Lead
Made website development the primary source of income after leaving Mediemerah and becoming location-independent. Rapid client growth exceeded individual delivery capacity, leading to the recruitment and direction of programmers and a shift from implementing every project personally to scoping, coordinating and assuring multiple client deliveries.
Producer · Project Manager · Technical Manager · Sound Engineer
Held a central technical and production role spanning live broadcasts, events, podcasts and studio recording. Maintained production readiness, developed streaming and broadcast solutions, and resolved live technical problems under immediate operational pressure.
Live Audio Engineer · Show Systems · Technical Project Work
Began mixing live audio and lighting for theatre and concert productions at age 16, later specializing in live audio. Developed an analogue-era foundation in signal flow, grounding, interference, impedance, balanced systems and fault isolation before adopting digital consoles and networked production. Designed sound systems, programmed audio consoles, built DMX/show-control systems and diagnosed unusual failures in live environments.
Web Developer · WordPress Specialist
Developed websites intermittently alongside the earlier technical career, later completing approximately 50 full sites plus extensive WordPress customization, debugging, maintenance and technical troubleshooting.
Selected project evidence
Implemented browser-compatible session handling, OTP/TOTP, incremental ingestion, idempotent synchronization, resume handling, action policies, outcome reconciliation, scheduled operation and audit logging.
Evolved early parallel experiments into a long-running six-stage runtime with completion-driven scheduling, bounded stage pressure, adaptive concurrency, explicit resource cleanup, resumability and live throughput/memory/cost telemetry. Database evidence records 502,253 distinct IDs completed on 23 June 2024.
Conceived a configurable customer-cycle algorithm that prevents duplicate booking counts, preserves historical agent credit, records later cancellations and deletions on the correct dates, reconstructs soft-deleted histories and attributes resulting orders to the original booking owner.
Personally replaced rigid hourly validation with an explainable day-level engine that finds call-density-supported work spans, handles timezone boundaries, lunch and recoverable gaps, combines project-specific thresholds, and exposes qualified, missing and tolerated time through a diagnostic timeline.
Turned an external opportunity into a signed international engagement, scoping the planned 16–22 week platform migration, commercial protections, specialist procurement, milestone alignment and post-launch recurring-service options.
Directed high-volume architecture and developer optimization across threading, network congestion, memory, databases and retry behaviour; built AI-assisted commercial categorization and vendor-sizing workflows.
Created a pipeline for retrieving, transcribing and analyzing calls to produce customer and agent-level metrics for profiling, coaching and performance improvement.
Designed a reusable service-worker foundation enabling offline behaviour for defined request classes and cached resources.
Joined CRM bookings, customers, forms, working slots and geographic data to calculate practical availability and travel capacity; checkpointed intermediate state and resumed automatically across Apps Script execution limits.
Built an access-controlled web application with paginated ingestion, concurrent contact qualification, timeout/retry handling, progress and cancellation controls, per-user settings, audit logging and browser-generated exports.
